Micro-credential Assessor

BloomBoard is seeking educators with experience coaching, mentoring, or evaluating other educators to assess micro-credential submissions, provide feedback, and recommend “grant” or “deny”.

Responsibilities
The micro-credential assessor will review and assess 20 or more micro-credentials per week, which equates to approximately 10 hours of work. There may be an opportunity for more, if you have the time available.

Certification
You are required to earn certification prior to completing assessments to ensure alignment and quality feedback. $250 for earning certification (6 – 10 hours of work)

Requirements
7+ years in education, experience coaching and/or evaluating. Ability to assess up to 20 or more micro-credentials a week (approximately 10 – 15 hours of work). There may be an opportunity for more, if you have the time available.

Compensation
$15 for every completed assessment (Assessing) and $30.00/hour for Approving

Experience

  • Teaching experience in K – 12: 5 years (Required)
  • Teacher coaching or mentoring in K – 12: 2 years (Required)
  • Evaluating teachers in K – 12: 2 years (Preferred)

License

  • National Board (Preferred)
  • Foreign Language Teaching (Preferred)
