Role Summary

The Senior CTE Content Specialist will collaborate with BloomBoard leadership, national organizations, and clients to define and deploy a vision for career, technical, and adult education programs in various sectors. They will collaboratively lead disruptive and innovative program design and development, positively impacting the quality and accessibility of workforce training programs across the nation.

Key Competencies

The ideal candidate for the Senior CTE Content Specialist role is knowledgeable about the general structures, policies, and programs for career, technical, and adult education programs, including the positive and negative influencing factors on those programs. They have a broad understanding of different career sectors and can confidently converse with various stakeholders across industries. They recognize inefficiencies and challenges within the various systems and are inspired to creatively solve challenges to create “best-in-class” programs with partners across the country. The Senior CTE Content Specialist works with internal teams and external partners to design and deploy these programs. They collaborate with leadership and content writers, project plan, and implement quality control measures before, during, and after program creation. The ideal candidate is competent in the following:

• Project Planning: is able to break complex projects into manageable steps and timelines and communicate those clearly to spur action

Key Responsibilities: 

• Collaborate with BloomBoard leadership, national organizations, and clients.
• Define and deploy a vision for career, technical, and adult education programs in various sectors including, but not limited to, healthcare, information technology (IT), and entrepreneurship.
• Project plan complex and multifaceted projects; monitor progress and problem-solve issues.
• Design frameworks for new training programs.
• Train full-time and contract content developers to create and revise content.
• Participate in or lead effective calls with clients to build or maintain partnership relationships involving content.
• Develop and maintain quality and consistency protocols across all publications.
• Develop and maintain continuous improvement processes.
• Work collaboratively within and across teams at BloomBoard.
• Participate in strategic initiatives to continuously improve the quality and design of the BloomBoard learning experience.
