BloomBoard is looking for a Sales Operations Manager to support the expansion of our Go-To-Market (GTM) team while helping to accelerate the revenue growth of the organization. In this role, you will manage the non-selling operational activities, provide close support to the GTM team, give critical insight and improve operational effectiveness. Strong collaboration skills, ability to multitask with attention to detail, and strong reporting and analytical skills are essential to this role.
This position reports to the Head of District Partnerships.
Responsibilities
- Work in partnership with the sales leadership to understand BloomBoard’s GTM strategy and ensure the appropriate operational support mechanisms are in place, well managed, and ready to scale.
- Drive appropriate use of Salesforce while maintaining data quality, functioning as the go-to resource for colleagues in all departments.
- Identify opportunities for process optimization, process redesign, or development of new processes/policies to support growth in new/expanding markets (direct to teacher, higher education).
- Experience maintaining data quality and data cleanup in Salesforce via constant data analysis, scheduled reports, data loads and validation rules.
- Ability to develop and maintain reports and dashboards in support of the GTM & Marketing team.
- Serve as the liaison between GTM and other teams by acting as a cross-departmental resource (e.g., work with finance to maintain procurement and contract records, work with Client Success Team on client data tracking.)
- Assist with on-boarding and the training of new GTM members
Experience and Competencies
- Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years experience in sales operations (preferably in the education or technology sectors)
- Salesforce experience; customizing and implementing profiles, roles, security settings, sharing rules, applications, custom objects, custom fields, page layouts, workflow, validation rules, approvals, dashboards, reports, etc.
- Ability to 3rd party integrations with various marketing and financial platforms (HubSpot, DocuSign, Salesloft, etc.)
- Strong analytical skills in interpreting data to recommend actionable next steps
- Understanding of sales processes and systems, i.e. sales cycles, account, territory, opportunity, pipeline management
- Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines, handle and prioritize simultaneous requests, and manage laterally and upwards
- Detail-oriented, organized, self-motivated, hardworking, and a great team player with excellent interpersonal skills
