What Kentucky Teachers are Saying…
Program Structures & Supports
This program is being offered by the Western Kentucky Education Cooperative (WKEC) and BloomBoard, based on years of experience with learn-by-doing credential programs. Through the program, educators will complete 5 courses (3 units each), one of which is a Capstone project for a total of 15 units. Much of the course work is job-embedded, meaning the learning is integrated into your classroom practice and there are no traditional university-like classes or exams that need to be completed on nights or weekends. The program is designed to be self-paced, which allows flexibility for you to progress as your schedule allows. A local mentor will be assigned to each participant, and individualized coaching support will be available throughout the program.

Orientation
Once you’ve completed enrollment, you’ll be invited to a kickoff orientation with your program facilitator/coach and other educators in your cohort.

Success Academy
Following the orientation, complete the BloomBoard Success Academy to help support the first course/portfolio submission.

Coaching
Your assigned coach is available for individualized support during the program.

Asynchronous Discussions
Throughout the program, you can communicate with your coach and other educators in your cohort through the BloomBoard platform.
