BloomBoard was recently invited by the International Monetary Fund and World Bank Group to attend their 2018 annual meeting in Bali, Indonesia. We were among a small group of companies selected to participate in the Innovation Showcase.

Sanford Kenyon, BloomBoard’s CEO, shared his insights on a panel discussion, How Can New Technologies Disrupt Education? led by World Bank Group’s Head of the Global Practice of Education, Jaime Saavedra.

Sanford also took part in the Digital Economy For All panel discussion.

We even had a nice chat with Jim Yong Kim, President of the World Bank Group, where he told us, “I know that micro-credentialing matters!”

This World Bank Group Annual Meeting’s theme centered around investing in people — through health, education, and skills development to end poverty. It reaffirmed BloomBoard’s approach of helping organizations provide meaningful professional learning experiences, improving how they support, scale, and grow effective teachers. We believe in investing in our educators. By making teachers more effective, we of course do a better job as a society in reaching and teaching our students — our future.
